Swatchery

For me personally it is always fun to view the swatches of my favorite eye shadows. I never tried MAC shadows in action. I love the paint pots though!

So theses are swatched with foundation on my hand as a base.

I think a foundation is not a heavy duty base to the point where it would geopardize the shadow texture. But clingy enough to show the structure of the shadow and its color and the pigmentation level.

Inglot and me

Time has come! Yes, time for my Inglot story.
It started off silly))) because way back over a year and a half ago when Inglot only started in Odessa I - as always - "knew better than that" - "what new can u suggest" ....
And I asked someone very nice to pick up few colorful Inglot shadows for me. Also at that time i looked into their mousse foundation. Was not in love when saw it in person.

But anyways, I ordered five shadows. One of them sparkly muted grey-purple. Others were neon-yellow, neon-green, bright purple and tourquoise.It was love from the first sight! The pigmentation was awesome. And i was pretty impressed with all the shadows. I had to have more! Later on - autumn last year i managed to get my hands on more Inglot shadows. Neutrals this time. And that is the point where "Inglot had me". At that point and untill now I am soooooooooo ready to try anything they have to suggest. For now I have tried their Under Make up base,

 the Matte gel liners (the waterproofest i know)

, their EYE SHADOWS of course,

 their under eye concealer

, their face and body Illuminator

...and anticipating trying their liquid

and cream blush

Makeup brushes I'm proud of!

SOunds tacky I know:) But there was no other way, really to describe this post. Since I am indeed really happy how theses brushes perform and that I have got them:)

Calvin Klein Large Powder Brush is the one to blame for this post. Being used properly for the first time - it made me fall in love in its profound quality and undescribable sofness!!!!!

Speaking of the two ELF Eye Shadow Brushes, which are supposed to be similar, but they are not at all:)
Bought at different times, do different things, still beautifully. The taller one is more on the bending side, Softer though, easier to manouver, so to say.
The shorter handled Laura Mercier is from a travel brush set. Works wonders in the crease!
Smashbox's pointy crease brush is nice. Pretty Universal.
Calvin Klein Blending is perfect for all over the lid or blending job. Replaced the Sigma's E25. Which was a free gift from Sigma with the purchase of the Sigmax set (My husband's gift for 8th March - International women's day).
