It IS indeed fantastic, how unexpectedly you can discover some secrets to your OWN perfect looking complexion!
I never though I am going to be the one who will mix the two foundations together to get the right color and texture. And the one who will be using baked eyeshadow in order to contour! And again.... the one who is going to buff a blush and a cotour together to get that perfect fresh skin look..
Before i thought that for that fresh skin look the only thing you need is the actual fresh skin;)
But you do not always find yourself during the time of the day with perfect skin, right...
SO today Clarins Teint Eclat Mat+Chanel Pro Lumiere worked a miracle for me.
I use the 30th shade named Shell from Chanel and amazingly - the shade 05 with the same name from Clarins.
They are differrent though. Both in texture and color. And density too.
Chanel contributed to the healthy look of my skin and Clarins to the mattified rather than "greasy looking" skin.
I have to admit though that I topped it off as well with Clarins Translucent Loose Powder. Without it my imperfect (and emphasized by Pro-Lumiere) skin texture would look.... mmmm...not so flattering.
Anyways, following Teresa's advice:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qse47Uehfwc&feature=channel on contouring and blush application:
I used Turkish Brand Flormar - baked eyeshadow - from their selection Double Effect collection - number 06. As a contour.
And used a blush from Eddie Funkhouser (Amway palette) Starlight Diva - the darker one. AND!!!!! Last but not least - Laura Mercier Travel Size Cheeck Color Brush!!!! So soft! Here are the products I used:
Those are in terms of Foundation. But i also Have Covergirl Lash Blast Volume on my lashes.
Thanks for reading if you have done so.
I am very happy with the result:
